The uncertainty in this pandemic is causing significant stress world wide We have no answers to many questions about when will it be safe to lead a normal life for school children , elderly , work forces and in-fact all of us .It is impacting minds world over and causing anxious moments which has negative effects on overall health and positive vibrations universally .
Anxiety is a very common biological response . It does not get solved by comments like 'just stop worrying,' 'think positive,' or 'be grateful’ 'Remember the more we fear anxiety, the more it escalates to panic .So the key to shift from anxiety to staying calm and positive is to acknowledge it, face it head on , hear it’s message and use it’s energy to follow your intuitive mind telling you to stay calm and positive .For then only your thoughts and actions will become constructive.
The media , TV news on so many channels is talking about it the whole day and night .If you keep listening or reading about it all the time it will only increase your negative emotions of fear and anxiety .At the same time we must be aware of what is going on and what we must do to protect ourselves .Hence do check on updates but only once or twice a day .
A lot of rumors keep going on and some can give you a feeling of false reassurance or even false fear .Analyze them , you may get your answers by reading about them , talking to your family and friends .Stay alert of fake news reassurances.
Stay positive , take good care of yourself , follow the rules and tell yourself “ this too shall pass.” It’s a mantra that gives you positive energy to face the hardships . With uncertainty, you never know when you might turn the corner and suddenly see answers in sight. Tomorrow might offer insight, so why think negative .Trust that things will change with time . Have patience ,hope and faith .
Stay home , follow the safe guidelines but stay connected .Family and friends can boost each other’s morale to stay positive .Tell your younger family members , children and teenagers about how we can fight the virus by not allowing it to infect humans when we stay away from people who may be potential carriers and by following the set precautions .
Exercises boost our immunity and help us stay healthy .Pranayam or breathing exercises increase lung function and build stronger lungs which can then help oxygenate well our other organs to function better .These practices will not only keep you busy but you will also stay more healthy to fight infection .
